about

With great joy we release our version of a universal song of peace at Christmas time. We began our work with the song, "Silent Night" while living in Chile, deciding to sing a verse in English, Spanish and German. An international collaboration, the piano arrangements were recorded by Claudio Gonzalez in Chile, while the other instrumentals were recorded at Fretless Studios in Ft. Wayne with sound engineer, Michael O'Connor. This song has been translated into more than 140 languages around the world and was originally composed in 1818 by Franz Xaver Gruber, with lyrics, originally in German, by Joseph Mohr of the small town of Oberndorf in Salzburg, Austria. It is our hope that these melodies from times of old, interwoven with today's presence, will remind our heart's of of the peace that runs deeper and wider than the chaos within and without.
